Service levels

Exceptional levels of service are what you can expect from Enhance and we will deliver. Recruitment is a competitive industry, and we will service your business needs and requirements to the highest possible level. Each client/contract will have a dedicated point of contact to discuss initial requirements and we will offer a consistent level of service from then on. We know each of our clients are different and have different needs which we will always aim to meet. We pride ourselves on our consultants and account managers being available either by phone or e-mail outside of business hours, so queries can be dealt with promptly. DBS Check

Being a safeguarding specialist, Disclosure and Barring Services, in our world, are just as important as the Right to Work checks. Once we have both in place, then, and only then can we recruit for you. DBS clearances are applied for and processed through First Disclosure, a partnership we are proud to have. The checks can be updated and reviewed on request, providing bespoke compliance levels, and peace of mind for our clients.

In addition to UK DBS checks, should clients require a more thorough overseas check, we have the systems and processes in place for these to be carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Auditing is second nature to us, and we not only welcome, but encourage, clients to audit our processes. By working together, we can build trust and confidence in each other’s businesses and understand expectations. We aim to mirror the compliance standards specific to your business.

Every Enhance Catering recruitment specialist is DBS checked, allowing us to safely visit you in person, and ensure we get to see the operation in the flesh, gathering those vital pieces of information that enable us to support your kitchens and operations in the best way possible.

Candidate Management

All candidates are provided with the necessary information regarding their bookings before their shift. After obtaining an agreement that they can work on the booking, they receive an email confirmation informing them of all the details of their shift, including the client name, location, shift start and end time, images of the check-in or entrance, uniform standards, and further information regarding the environment they will be working in.

We understand that last minute changes happen and will always try our upmost to accommodate changes in bookings, times, and locations. We will also always ensure that your candidate feedback is not only recorded, but used, and the very best candidates that fit your brand are rebooked.

All things invoicing

With the ability to be flexible, and provide bespoke solutions, our clients invoicing processes can be dealt with by the in-house finance team, creating timely, efficient invoicing and reporting.

With a weekly invoicing process based only on hours worked by staff members, we can work with you to remain on top of your labour spend. With a dedicated contact for each client, someone to talk to and someone to discuss options with, we believe the notable service delivery leads to smooth and effective invoicing procedures.


Compliance is at the heart of our operation and it is something which we take extremely seriously.


Our compliance operation covers all aspect of candidate onboarding from uComply Right to Work checks in line with the Home Office guidelines, relevant certified training which is job role specific, ensuring we manage candidate data in line with the GDPR and our in house PAYE payroll is aligned with HMRC.


Every single candidate who works with Enhance has to demonstrate their Right to Work in the UK by providing an accepted, in date original document, which is then uploaded using our uComply online scanning software. This software is used to protect us and our Clients to provide peace of mind.


We have partnered with FLOW to provide a training platform to all candidates. As a minimum requirement all food handlers will complete the Allergens training. All Chefs will complete Allergens and Level 2 Food Safety. Enhance also has access to a library of different training modules which candidates can complete in line with specific Client requirements.


All Enhance Payroll is managed by a dedicated in-house team and all candidates are paid PAYE in line with HMRC without exception. All candidates who qualify will be auto-enrolled onto the Government Pension scheme. We always pay fairly and above industry average, and in line with the government recommended National Living Wage.


We take data privacy and security very seriously. We’ve invested heavily in the way we process and store data, so that all candidate and client data is safe.


Every candidate who will be working with children or vulnerable adults goes through a DBS screening and criminal record check to the appropriate level to work in these environments. We have partnered with First Advantage who run all of the background checks for Enhance, the cost of which is not passed onto the Candidate. We do this to protect everyone in our supply chain and ensure that all candidate data is managed respectfully and confidentially at every stage.
