SCOTT WHITEHEAD

Business Manager

After spending over 10 years working in the hospitality industry, working my way up through the ranks to head chef covering everything from large scale events to fine dining I made the move into recruitment. My kitchen background is my biggest asset as it allows me to put myself in our clients shoes and assess their needs on an individual basis. One of the things I most enjoy about my role is being able to put my whites on and work alongside our clients and really get to understand their operation.

If I weren’t so damn good at my job, I’d probably be…

A gardener, I have 2 allotments where I grow as much of my fruit and veg as possible, I have also just started to redesign my back garden to give me a nice garden to look at but also be functional for my 6 year old daughter.

How would you describe your job to a bunch of five-year-olds?

I find jobs for people that need them, I have had a lot of practice with my daughter and her friends.

My favourite word in the English language is…

Discombobulate

If you could acquire a new skill in 10 minutes, what would it be?

The ability to draw, I like the idea of being able to draw something but I am useless

Favourite food or dish to cook at home?

A Sunday roast, proper gravy, homemade Yorkshire puddings, rare roast beef and a nice glass or two of red.
